Came for a bachelorette party and had truly the BEST brunch. So well priced for such amazing food. We had a party with some pretty strict dietary requirements and custom orders. Our server Jason handled it SO well and had a great sense of humor about it too. People loved the breakfast burrito and the ability to add different sides. My celiac and dairy allergic friends loved the chicken sausage. My vegan buddy got a vegan breakfast burrito and loved it. I had the chicken and goat cheese biscuit and oh my GAWD so good! I really would have wanted to order everything on the menu if I could, even the salads. My friend got a salad with beets and beet and sunflower seed pesto and that pesto was so delicious. I'm not even a beet person. If you have a big crew for a weekend trip, Root Down is so fun, flexible and beautiful. It's close to a ton of great watering holes like Happy Camper as well. Highly recommend! They put us out on the patio which is really lovely and it was easy to accommodate a big party.

The rockfish made me feel alive. I could eat this everyday for the rest of my life. Service and vibes are also amazing to top it off

I just wanted to say I came back 9 years later and the chicken and biscuit still did not disappoint! We came in on a Saturday morning and it was not crowded. Parking was street and easy to find. In the appetizers we all shared one pancake... I forgot the name... but that was delicious as well. Perfect for us because I don't think we could have fit more food in us!

Incredible service, intentional ingredients, and great ambience! We decided to walk-in for brunch at Root Down this past weekend and I was really pleased with the whole experience. Our server was the Bar Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. When my friend expressed her dietary restrictions, he went out of his way to bring over the allergy guide and walk us through every ingredient, making customizations to the dish she was interested in. I ordered the Chilaquiles with a side of the Black Pepper Bacon. While I was disappointed by the portion size, the flavors were otherworldly. When I expressed this to the server, he comped my entire order(this was not the expectation and we made sure to tip generously). Even during the brunch rush, I felt as though the customer service far surpasses other brunches I've experienced in Denver. I will absolutely be returning to try brunch again, am looking forward to dinner service, and will be asking the staff what dishes they think outshine others.

Nice find on a Yelp search. Wonderful happy hour. A wonderful retro vibe of an establishment. The lamb sliders were delicious. The pakoras were way on point. Our host and wait staff were excellent. Would absolutely repeat if in the area. There's a location at t hut e airport that has excellent reviews for airport options.

I could have sworn I visited Root Down before coming here for Restaurant Week. Guess not! Started out in the bar area (side room) to close out happy hour with my partner before the reservation I had with a group of friends. Would come back just for their tasty cocktails and appetizer specials. Customer service here is fantastic. Vibes are overall excellent. Had the following from the Restaurant Week menu: * Vadouvan Roasted Cauliflower * Devils on Horseback * Rockfish Tom Kha * Thai Lime Chia Pudding Everything was delicious! Especially the Tom Kha. I had a little leftover, which I took home, and it was still amazing. Everything is so artfully presented. All Edible Beats restaurants make such great date night or business dinner spots. Parking can be a challenge, so budget extra time for that. My partner got a gift card on sale, which hopefully means I'll be back soon.

I have been to Root Down a couple of times and it has become one of my favorite brunch spots. Their menu is exactly what I look for, not overpowering & greasy but still delicious, and their morning cocktails/mimosas elevate the experience. I have had the pleasure of having Mondo and Audrey as servers on separate occasions, and both were so attentive and knowledgeable. Their service truly catered to my experience, and was above and beyond. Thank you!

Came for dinner with a friend. Would recommend reservations at dinner time as they get pretty busy. I started my meal with the beet salad, was superrrrr yummy. For main course I had the Colombian arepas and added plantains and avocado. Overall had great flavor. We split a dessert, it was a thin mint brownie with vanilla ice cream. And drink wise I had the rhubarb-Rita. Overall everything was super yummy. Would definitely comeback

Root Down is an absolute gem! As someone with dietary restrictions, I was thrilled to find a plethora of gluten-free and vegan options on their menu. It's rare to find a restaurant that caters so well to diverse dietary needs, and Root Down nailed it. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were more than happy to accommodate any special requests or questions about the menu. Their knowledge and friendly demeanor really added to the overall dining experience. Now, let's talk about those lamb burger sliders - oh my goodness, they were out of this world! Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the aioli? To die for. It's the kind of dish that leaves you craving more long after the meal is over. And for those who might be hesitant because of the hipster vibe - don't let it deter you! I almost passed on Root Down because of it, but I'm so glad I didn't. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food speaks for itself. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. Root Down has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family.

Root Down is an excellent brunch spot! I had the chilaquiles and they had a really nice flavor. The portion was a teeny bit small (Mexican chilaquiles can be large iykyk) but otherwise I really enjoyed it. They also look like they have seasonal entrees, too, which I'd love to come back to try! Pro tip: Try to make a reservation beforehand because it's popular and the wait can be long.
